You understand that you are supplying your information to the Promoter (defined below) and not to the Excluded Companies. This Promotion shall not be published without permission of the Promoter. Names, logos, and/or materials associated with prize descriptions are used for purposes of promotion and/or prize descriptions only and such use is not intended to suggest or imply sponsorship of this Promotion. For the avoidance of doubt, neither Samsung, nor the IOC have offered or sponsored this Promotion in any way. Neither Samsung nor the IOC shall have any liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Promotion or any prize awarded.
PROMOTER / ADMINISTRATOR: The “2024 Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition Giveaway (UK)” (“Promotion”) is provided and promoted by SmartMedia Technologies, Inc. (“SMT”) located at 201 Main Street, Suite 102, Carbondale, CO 81623 (“Promoter”) and is administered by National Sweepstakes Company, LLC located at 1143 East union Street, Newark, NY 14513 (“Administrator”).
THESE OFFICIAL RULES: These are the official rules that govern the relationship between Entrants (defined below in the “Eligibility” section) and Promoter in respect of this Promotion (the “Official Rules”). These Official Rules can be found at http://myolympicrewards.com/gncn0hpu (“Website”). By entering the Promotion, each Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, including entry requirements.
PROMOTION TIMING: The Promotion begins at 10:00 AM GMT on December 11, 2024 and ends at 11:59 PM GMT on January 15, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). The Promoter’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Promotion.
ELIGIBILITY: This Promotion is open only to legal residents of the United Kingdom (“UK”) who are: (i) at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry; (ii) who are a member of the MyOlympic™ Rewards Program (see “How to Participate” section for further details of sign up); and (iii) who have internet access and a valid and active email account (each, an “Entrant”). Employees of Promoter, Administrator, Samsung, the IOC, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Promotion Entities”) and each of their immediate family members (e.g., spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses and the “steps” of each, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. This Promotion is subject to all relevant laws and regulations. This Promotion is void for residents outside the UK and anywhere else where is it prohibited or restricted by law. Participation constitutes Entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Promoter’s decisions and interpretations, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. By entering the Promotion, you confirm that you have legal capacity to enter the Promotion (i.e. that you are of sufficient age and mental capacity and are entitled to be legally bound in contract). Winning any prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
HOW TO JOIN THE MyOlympic™ REWARDS PROGRAM (the “Rewards Program”): To register for the Rewards Program, you must create an account (“Account”) and confirm your acceptance of the terms and conditions for the Rewards Program, located at https://myolympicrewards.com/LoyaltyTerms* To create an Account, visit the Website during the Promotion Period and register for the Rewards Program via one of the two (2) methods below:
(a) EMAIL: Select “CONTINUE WITH EMAIL” and when prompted, submit your email address. After checking the boxes indicating your agreement to these Official Rules, and the Promotor’s terms of use and privacy policy, click the “CONTINUE” button. Upon the successful submission of your information, you will receive an email with login link. To complete the registration procedure, you must click the “Login” link found within the email.
(b) SAMSUNG ID: Select “CONTINUE WITH SAMSUNG ID” and when prompted, submit your Samsung ID and password. After checking the boxes indicating your agreement to these Official Rules, the Promotor’s terms of use and privacy policy, click the “CONTINUE” button. Upon the successful submission of your information, you will receive an email with login link. To complete the registration procedure, you must click the “Login” link found within the email.
*If you became a Rewards Program member prior to the start of this Promotion you can bypass the steps above by visiting the “DISCOVER” tab in your Account and clicking the Promotion image. Then, follow the instructions under the “HOW TO PARTICIPATE (INITIAL ENTRY)” Section below to enter the Promotion.
NOTE: If you do not click the “Login” link found within the email within the indicated time-period you will not be able to access your Account and/or participate in the Promotion.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE (INITIAL ENTRY) Upon successful registration for the Rewards Program and completing all the steps indicated above in the “How to Join The MyOlympic™ Rewards Program” section, you will automatically receive one (1) initial entry (“Initial Entry”) into the Promotion. If you were an existing Rewards Program member upon visiting the Website, click the “DISCOVER” tab in your account and click the “CONTINUE” button to receive one (1) Initial Entry into the Promotion. Limit of one (1) Initial Entry per Entrant.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE (BONUS ENTRIES) Once the Initial Entry is received, eligible Entrants may then receive up to four (4) Bonus Entries via any or all of the following methods. To earn Bonus Entries, visit the Website during the Promotion Period and after accessing your Account:
a. How to Participate (1 Bonus Entry): Upon registering for the Promotion, “How to Participate” instructions will be provided on the screen. Upon navigating through the screens, Entrant will receive one (1) Bonus Entry into the Promotion.
b. Watch (1 Bonus Entry): You will also have the option to click the “WATCH” button to watch the short informational video about the Olympics. Upon watching the full video, Entrants will receive one (1) Bonus Entry into the Promotion.
c. Survey (1 Bonus Entry): Click the “SURVEY” button and follow the steps to complete the brief survey. Upon completion of the survey Entrants will receive one (1) Bonus Entry into the Promotion.
d. Download (1 Bonus Entry): Click one (1) of three (3) “DOWNLOAD” buttons to receive one (1) Bonus Entry into the Promotion. You are not required to download the wallpaper to receive the Bonus Entry via this method. If desired, follow the links and follow the instructions to download the wallpaper.
Entry Limit: Regardless of the method(s) used to obtain entry into this Promotion, there is a limit of five (5) entries per person during the entire Promotion Period, equivalent to one (1) Initial Entry and four (4) Bonus Entries.
If more than the stated number of entries is received from the same person, telephone number and/or e-mail address the entries may be disqualified. Entrants are prohibited from using more than one (1) e-mail address, telephone number, or multiple identities. If it is found or suspected that an Entrant is using more than one e-mail address or multiple identities to participate in the Promotion, then that Entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate in the Promotion is prohibited and may result in disqualification. The Promotion Entities are not responsible for any entries that are lost, late, misdirected or undeliverable, whether due to system errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmissions or any other reason, theft or destruction or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunication malfunctions, points not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, technical malfunctions, or otherwise, in each case to the extent that the same are beyond the reasonable control of the Promotion Entities. Promoter will not verify receipt of entries for Entrants. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person who participated in this Promotion, the entry will be deemed submitted by the Authorized Account Holder (defined below) of the e-mail address submitted at the time for which the Initial Entry was received. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by the Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

RANDOM DRAWING / NOTIFICATION: There will be one (1) random drawing held in this Promotion. The random drawing will take place at the offices of the Sponsor on January 16, 2025, at 12:01 AM GMT. The grand prize winners (each, a “Grand Prize Winner”) will be notified by January 17, 2025 at 9:00 AM GMT.
For the drawing, Promoter will randomly (using electronic software) select sixteen (16) Grand Prize Winners from all valid and eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Each Grand Prize Winner will receive a grand prize (“Grand Prize”). The odds of winning a Grand Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Receipt of prizes by Grand Prize Winners is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.
Notification / Verification: The Grand Prize Winners will be notified by the Promoter via email by January 16, 2025, at 9:00 AM GMT and must respond to the email notification (“Email Notification”) by 9:00 AM GMT on January 19, 2025.
Upon receipt of the Email Notification, each Grand Prize Winner will be required to click the link found within the Email Notification which will lead them to their Account. Upon clicking the “WINNER” icon, follow the steps to complete the prize redemption form in its entirety including your first name, last name, address, locality name, town post code, telephone number and date of birth.
Promoter will only make two (2) attempts to reach the Grand Prize Winners via the Email Notification within a seventy-two (72) hour time frame. In the event a Grand Prize Winner does not respond within a seventy-two (72) hour time frame, the original Grand Prize Winner will be disqualified, and an alternate will be selected from the remaining non-winning eligible entries received during the respective Entry Promotion Period(s) and notified as outlined above. If a Grand Prize Winner is disqualified, found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, or declines to accept the Grand Prize, the respective Grand Prize will be awarded to an alternate winner as outlined above from all remaining valid and eligible entries.
Promoter will attempt to notify the Grand Prize Winners as set forth above, but Promoter is not responsible for any undelivered e-mails, including without limitation e-mails that are not received because of the Grand Prize Winner’s privacy or spam filter settings which may divert any Promotion e-mail, including any winner notification e-mail, to a spam or junk folder.
PRIZE CLAIMS: Each Grand Prize Winner may be required by the Promoter to demonstrate their eligibility for the Promotion (including by providing copies of identity documents and/or proof of address). If it is determined that a Grand Prize Winner is not eligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, the Grand Prize Winner forfeits his/her right to the Grand Prize and an alternate will be notified as outlined in the “RANDOM DRAWING/NOTIFICATION” section above , even if the disqualified Grand Prize Winner’s name may have been publicly announced. In the event a Grand Prize Winner is disqualified as a result of being ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, neither Promoter or Administrator shall have any liability or obligation to such individual.
PRIZES: There will be sixteen (16) Grand Prizes awarded in this Promotion. The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize is £1,621.70. The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in this Promotion is £24,947.20. Each Grand Prize Winner will receive one (1) Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition with accompanying phone case and canvas tote bag.
The Grand Prizes will be shipped to each Grand Prize winner by March 7, 2025 or within ten (10) business days from the date in which an alternate Grand Prize Winner (if applicable) responds to the Email Notification.
General Prize details: Limit of sixteen (16) Grand Prizes to be awarded in this Promotion. If, for any reason, more prize notifications are sent (or more claims are received) than the number of prizes offered, as set forth in these Official Rules, the Grand Prize Winner will be the first name selected in the corresponding random drawing. No transfer or substitution of a Grand Prize is permitted, except as provided herein or with Promoter’s prior approval. Except as otherwise set forth herein, unclaimed Grand Prizes will not be awarded. All other costs and expenses not expressly set forth herein shall be solely Grand Prize Winner’s responsibility.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
(a) Nothing in these Official Rules excludes or limits the Promoter’s or the Administrator’s liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful to exclude or restrict liability.
(b) Save as set out in (a) above, if the Promoter or the Administrator fail to comply with these Official Rules, the Promoter and Administrator (as applicable) are responsible for direct loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of the Promoter’s or Administrator’s breach of these Official Rules or the Promoter’s or Administrator’s negligence, but the Promoter and the Administrator are not responsible for any indirect loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of the Promoter’s or Administrator’s breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time you entered the Promotion.
(c) Neither the Promoter nor the Administrator shall be liable for: (i) any failure to comply with these Official Rules as a consequence of events beyond their reasonable control including without limitation, any failure of communication networks as a consequence of any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter or the Administrator’s; and/or (ii) any loss of profits, loss of revenue or other economic loss or any indirect or consequential loss.
(d) You expressly acknowledge and agree that the Promotion is operated and provided to you by the Promoter and the Administrator, and not by any other entity. Accordingly, you further acknowledge and agree that the Excluded Companies are not party to these Official Rules, nor shall they have any liability towards you whatsoever in connection with operation of the Promotion.
If, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, Promoter reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. In the event that the Promotion is terminated early, the Promoter shall select Grand Prize Winners from among all valid and eligible entries received prior to such termination. In no event will more prizes be awarded than are stated in these Official Rules. In the event that, due to technical, typographical, mechanical, administrative, printing, production, computer or other errors, there are more winners than are stated in these Official Rules, the Grand Prize Winner will be the first name selected in the corresponding random drawing.
TAXES: The Grand Prize may be taxable income under the laws applicable to the Grand Prize Winner. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, any taxes applicable to the Grand Prize are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. Each Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for reporting the Grand Prize to the relevant tax authorities, and paying all taxes applicable to the Grand Prize, as required by the applicable tax laws. Upon request from the Sponsor, the Grand Prize Winner will promptly complete and submit to the Sponsor all tax forms, certificates, authorisations or any other documents as may be necessary to comply with the applicable tax laws. If required by law, the Sponsor reserves the right to withhold and remit to the appropriate taxing authorities the amount of any tax or taxes due. For any United States taxable person (resident in the US or abroad), the right to receive the Grand Prize is contingent on submission of a properly completed IRS Form W-9, including the legal name and taxpayer identification number of the legally authorized recipient of the Grand Prize to the Sponsor within 10 days of notification to the Grand Prize Winner.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION: These Official Rules are governed by English law. This means that your entry into, and participation with, the Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection therewith (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by English law. However, if you are a resident of Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland then you will still benefit from any mandatory local law protections provided to consumers under Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish law (as applicable).
You may bring any dispute which may arise under these Official Rules to, at your discretion, either the competent court of England, or to the competent court of your country of habitual residence if this country of habitual residence is within the UK, which courts are (with the exclusion of any other court) competent to settle any such a dispute. This means that, for example, if you are a resident of Scotland then you may bring such a dispute to the courts of Scotland or England.
We will bring any dispute which may arise under these Official Rules to the competent court of your country of habitual residence within the UK.
PRIVACY: The collection of personal information provided in connection with this Promotion will be used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policies located online at https://www.smartmedialabs.io/privacy.
PUBLICITY RIGHTS: Each Grand Prize Winner agrees to take part in reasonable publicity as may be required by Promoter in respect of the Promotion. Otherwise, by virtue of a requirement imposed by the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (“ASA”) under the CAP Code, by entering the Promotion each Grand Prize Winner gives Promoter permission to publish their surname and county of residence if they are a winner of one of the Grand Prizes unless the winner notifies Promoter that they do not wish us to make these details available. Please note that Promoter will nonetheless be required to provide the names of all Grand Prize Winners to the ASA if requested to do so.
GENERAL: Any attempted form of participation in this Promotion other than as described herein is void. Promoter and Administrator reserve the right to disqualify any Entrant found or suspected to be tampering with the operation of the Promotion; to be acting in breach of these Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike manner or with the intent to disrupt the normal operation of this Promotion. If it is discovered that a person has registered or attempted to register more than once using multiple phone numbers, e-mail addresses, residential addresses, multiple identities, IP addresses, use of proxy servers, or like methods, all of that person’s entries will be declared null and void and that person will not be awarded any prize that he/she might have been entitled to receive. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed, third party or like methods to participate in the Promotion will void any attempted participation effected by such methods and the disqualification of the individual utilizing the same. Caution: any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may constitute a violation of criminal and civil laws. We reserve our rights in relation to any such violations, including to seek damages or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If any provision of these Official Rules or any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or other portion thereof should be held unenforceable or invalid for any reason, then that provision or portion thereof shall be modified or deleted in such manner as to render the remaining provisions of these Official Rules valid and enforceable. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules or the prize documents will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
No Entrant shall have the right to modify or amend these Official Rules.
Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision and such provision shall remain in full force and effect. All entries and/or materials submitted become the property of Promoter and will not be returned.
