What is Augmented Reality (AR)?

Augmented Reality (AR) enhances what you see in the real world by adding digital elements through your phone's camera. With My Olympic Rewards, you can experience AR in several exciting ways: collect digital objects at locations around the world, discover digital wearables, and enjoy AR-enabled artwork collectibles.

How do I view objects in Augmented Reality (AR)?

To view objects in AR, follow these steps:

Enable camera access when prompted on your device

Tap the 'map' button in your wallet

Select 'View in AR' at the bottom of your screen

Having trouble? Make sure you're not using private browsing mode and have enabled the necessary privacy settings for AR viewing.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Where do I find my login link when I submit my email address?

We’re embracing the future and eliminating passwords. For your convenience and security, when you log in, we’ll email you a one-time login link to access your account.

Why did I not receive an email with the login link?

The email may have ended up in your "junk" folder. Please check and mark it as “Not Junk” to move it to your Inbox.

How do I find my User ID?

Simply click your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen, and you'll see your User ID displayed in your profile information. This unique ID helps us keep your rewards account secure.

Why isn't my AR/Camera working?

To fix AR issues, check your device settings:

For Android users:

  • Open Chrome

  • Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner

  • Tap Settings

  • Tap Location and turn it on

For iPhone users:

  • Open Settings

  • Tap Privacy

  • Tap Location Services

  • Find and tap Safari

  • Select "While Using the App"

  • Make sure camera access is also enabled for Safari

  • Once you've updated your settings, reload your My Olympic Rewards wallet, tap "Map," and select "Allow" when asked to share your location.

Why do I get an error when trying to collect objects from the map?

Error messages appear when you either try to collect an object that's too far away from your current location, or when you've already reached the maximum number allowed for that object. Check the error message shown for the specific reason you can't collect the object.
